Reliable Packing for Safe Transit

At DK Overseas, we prioritize secure packing to ensure the safe transit of dimension stones like granite and marble. Despite their hardness, these stones are vulnerable to damage during handling and transportation. From factory loading to final delivery, they endure rigorous conditions across long distances. To safeguard them, we use high-quality packing materials, ensuring intact and secure deliveries worldwide.

Our 6-Step Stone Packaging Process

At DK Overseas, we prioritize quality at every stage, including packaging. Our meticulous 6-step process ensures that natural stone tiles are securely packed and delivered in pristine condition. From crate preparation to final packaging, we uphold the highest standards to protect every consignment. Here’s a look at our structured packaging process.

1. Crate setup

These robust, seaworthy wooden crates are crafted from solid eucalyptus wood, ensuring strength, flexibility, and secure packaging for natural stones.

2. Crate preparation for stone packing

Secure the inner crate by lining all sides with foam sheets to protect the stone edges from damage.

3. Placing the natural stone products in the crate

The natural stone tiles are systematically arranged in the crate to maximize the utilization of available space.

4. Stuffing the crate with natural stone tiles

After finalizing the filling pattern, all tiles are tightly placed in the crate to prevent damage. Foam sheets are used to fill any gaps and protect the tile surfaces from potential damage.

5. Ensuring the crate's security

Once the crate is filled, the next step is to secure the packed products by placing a polyethene & foam sheet on top of the crate. This ensures protection against potential damage during transit. Additionally, the crates undergo chemical treatment and fumigation prior to dispatch.

6. Sealing the crate for shipment

The crate is ultimately sealed by fastening the upper section with nails.  Packaging straps are then used to secure the crate on all sides.
